Steven Daniel Powers

Steven Daniel Powers departed this life of labor to a new life of reward on June 26, 2022. Steven was a caring, loving person, who would do anything to make people smile and he loved to make you laugh and had a very giving heart; he would give “the shirt off his back” if needed.  He had a very deep soul, he loved the “old school” rock-n-roll and loved listening to music on vinyl. 

Steven was gifted with many talents; but his passion was music; he was a great self-taught musician and loved to play both the electric and acoustic guitar.  He would spend hours playing the guitar for his friends and his family.  Steven also loved everything Sci-Fi and would spend hours researching aliens and watching documentaries on the subject.  He had a love for watching movies; over & over.  

Steven was an animal lover; he would feed stray cats & even raccoons but he loved with all his heart his sweet dog, Ava.  Steven also enjoyed and loved everything about cars.  He was very proud of his new career opportunity with David McDavid Acura and was exceling; he truly enjoyed going to work.  He was happiest when he was talking about cars and music, but he also loved playing video games with friends.  He loved playing pool & bowling with his brother, Tyler & his “Pops”.  Steven was a “gentle soul” who cared so much for the people in his life and everyone who met him; “fell in love” with him.

Steven is survived by his father, Craig; who he called “Pops”, his “2” Mothers, Leslie & Elizabeth, his sister, Jade and brother, Tyler.  His grandparents, Colleen Powers, Catherine Banks & Anna Irwin.
