Heather Fawn (Maus) Caballero

Heather “Fawn” Maus Caballero, born March 10, 1981, passed away peacefully on January 7, 2022, surrounded by her husband, mother, siblings, and friends by her side. 

She is survived by her husband, Eddie Caballero, daughter Madison Ruiz, and stepchildren Christopher and Felece Caballero. She is also survived by her mother, Cheryl Wilkins, father and mother-in-law Eduardo and Connie Caballero, brother James Brown and his children, sister Astasia Rebhan and husband Brad Rebhan and their children, sister Myka Maus Hollingsworth and husband Brett Hollingsworth, brother Makoda Maus, Best-friend Brandy Linex and God-daughter Rebecca Bellamy, and bonus mother Mary Platts. Fawn is also survived by her Aunt Judy Carlock and cousins Bubba Carlock, Natasha Johnson, and Aleeshia Lovelace, Brian Wilkins, Chris Wilkins, David Wilkins and Ashley Alaniz, as well as countless lifelong friends, family, and co-workers. 

Fawn is preceded in death by her father, Michael Maus and her uncle, Walter Wilkins. 

Heather Fawn was a fun, outgoing, and loving person who was known to always be smiling. She was unapologetically loud and silly and truly enjoyed having a good time around friends and family. She absolutely loved her job at Gateway Mortgage and always strived to be better! Her heart was made of gold, and she would do anything for anybody in need. She organized an annual Christmas gift drive at work for under privileged children and took so much pleasure in delivering the hundreds of gifts to children in need at a local Elementary school. She loved to love and loved to be loved. 

She was a true warrior who fought a long, relentless battle with breast cancer. She always stayed positive and hopeful but ultimately succumbed to the disease. Fawn is irreplaceable and will be deeply missed by all.
