Faye Sarubbi

Faye Sarubbi, 82, of Plano, Texas, passed away on Friday, May 13th, 2022. A Celebration of her Life will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 28th, 2022 at Gateway Funerals and Cremation. Dallas, Texas.  Ricky Jarrell will start the Celebration with prayer and dedication. Crematory arrangements are being handled by Gateway Funerals and Cremation.

Faye was born in Mt. Selman, Texas on April 12, 1940.  She graduated in 1958 from Mesquite High School, Mesquite, Texas.

Faye was married to Peter Michael Sarubbi on July 3, 1975 and then again on September 30th, 1983; they were married for a total of 41 years.

Faye worked as a Property Management/Resident Manager for several Apartment complexes throughout the Dallas Fort Worth Area.  She enjoyed planting and growing flowers, loved to paint, interior decorate and had a flare for just about anything she set her mind too. She loved being a mom and raising her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. 

Faye is survived by daughters; Sheila Louise Moye and husband Alex Diaz of McKinney, Texas, Samantha DeAnn Vargas and husband Mitchel X. Vargas of Carrollton, Texas, Summer Nicole Sarubbi of Carrollton, Texas, Anne Sarubbi-Garman and husband John of Remington, VA. and Kathleen Sarubbi-Johnson and husband Keith Johnson of Highland Ranch, Colorado, Ricky Jarrell and wife Gwen of Corsicana, TX, and Teresa Cook of Dallas, TX grandchildren: Tabatha Faye Smith, Trelena Lynn Smith, Derek Vargas, Michael Ryan Campbell, Christopher David Campbell, and Garrett Mitchell Moye, Stephanie Close, and Katie Garman, Keifer Johnson, Kourtney Lajczok, Kacey Johnson, Vanessa Sarubbi and Vida Sarubbi along with 14 Great grandchildren. Sister Tammy F. Fletcher and brother-in-law Lester Fletcher of Kilgore, TX, brother Jerry Powell of Kilgore Tx. nieces Whitney Fletcher and Kelly Powell of Kilgore nephews Jerry Lee Powell of North Richland Hills TX, and Jamie Powell of Kilgore, TX, nieces True Van Meter of Cedar Rapids Iowa, Tracey Van Meter of Kilgore, TX Lori Van Norman of Longview TX and John David Van Meter of Texarkana, TX and other family and friends.

Faye is preceded in death by mother, Louise Powell, husband, Peter M. Sarubbi, son David M. Moye, son Clinton Jarrell, daughter Mary E. Sarubbi, grandsons Edward Garman, Kaleb A. Vaughn and brother Johnny Van Meter.
