Diana Fay (Vanek) Reed

Diana Fay Vanek Reed “Mama” was called home to our Lord on June 21, 2021 in Dallas, Texas. Everybody called her Momma D.

Diana was born on August 22, 1961 in Dallas, Texas to Daniel Vanek and Mildred Neal who proceeded her in death. She was raised by her step dad, Marion “Dean” Sandner, who also has
proceeded her in death.

Her interest included dancing and completing cross word puzzles. Her charm and smile could enlighten any room she entered.

She married Baby Boy Reed in the fall of 1984.

Diana was the fifth of seven siblings, John Tolliver, Colleen Buckley, Patricia Cohen, Gene Tolliver, Danny Ray Vanek and Deanna Sandner.

She is survived by her husband Baby Boy Reed, her two daughters Christy Sasser (AnthonySasser) and Mary Avila (Ramon Avila), and her six Grandchildren Cesar Gamboa II, Gabriel
Lopez Jr, Carlii Sumler, Roman Mixon, Raelynn Avila, and Ruth Ann Avila. She leaves behind a host of loving nieces, nephews and friends.

Diana was loved and will be missed by many.
