Cynthia Garcia Obituary

Cynthia “Cindy” Garcia, beloved daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend crossed into eternal peace on November 30, 2021.  Cindy slipped away peacefully into the arms of God, surrounded by family after many decades of battling disease. She was born in Revere, Massachusetts to Luisa Garcia and Rodrigo Garcia Jr.  She lived most of her life in El Paso, TX making friends and fond memories. She graduated from Andress High School and El Paso Community College.  She was incredible in softball when she played and enjoyed watching sports with her father and family at home.  She loved baking with her daughters and being part of the tamale train with her mother. Her greatest joy was being with her grandkids. She loved the wilderness and spent her last weeks sitting outside on the patio in the presence of her grandchildren in Athens, Tx.  She traveled to Galveston Beach in July with her grandkids to enjoy it with them. Her favorite memories of them were taking them to Ruidoso, New Mexico. Even still last year she made great memories as she went tent camping with her grandkids in the mountains of New Mexico. Cindy loved her entire family fiercely and they loved her equally back. Every family member cared for Cindy.  They all assisted her in her battle in one way or another. Many drew much inspiration from her as she fought. She will join her grandson, mother Luisa Garcia, nephew Anthony Lew Dinsdale II, niece Kimberly Erica Dinsdale, great nephew Hunter Wray Lewis, and many more friends & family in heaven as she leaves this realm to enter eternal peace. She will be in good company.

She is survived by her father Rodrigo Garcia Jr, three daughters and their spouses- Lilian and Lorenzo Crosby, Cristina and Douglas Brown, Monica Garcia and Prasad Thulukanam, 7 grandchildren- Catherine Elizabeth Crosby, Solomon Brown, Lorenzo Crosby III, Sydnie Kiera Brown, Sean Brown, Matilda Ann Crosby, and Spencer Brown, 5 siblings and their spouses- Sylvia and Gil Young, Teresa "Terry"  & Mark Palmer, Rafael "Ralph" Ambrosio Garcia, Rodrigo Roberto "Robert"  and Tammy Garcia, Juanita "Janie"  and Chuck Warrington, and the combined multitude of loving and caring nieces and nephews: Sharlene Kreager, Jennifer Carmichael, Melissa Palmer, Bryan Conan Garcia, Arlynn Lenore Garcia, Amy Palmer, Corrine Luisa Dinsdale, Amber Lynn Dinsdale, Vincent Esteban Garcia, Vinnie Garcia, Vaughn Garcia and Julian Daniel Garcia.

Cindy loved being an aunt so much she decided to become a Great Aunt to Katie LeAnn Garrett, Ravyn Nicole Biscamp, Leyton Pierce Biscamp, *Cynthia FaLynn Hall, Sam Kreager, Michael Kreager, Jasmine Rene Cosgray and son Wyatt Kolt Long, Rebecca Cassidy Cosgray, Kevin Elias Cosgray, Brooklyn Grace Carmichael, and Gunner Douglas Carmichael.

Cindy, you are free from this physical body that could not handle your tough spirit. You will be missed. We will meet once again when our time comes. We love you. Go and be whole with those who left before us and who are eagerly awaiting you.
